UNITED v VILLA – TURN SJP BLACK & WHITE

Gallowgate Flags are organising a full flag display ahead of the upcoming game with Aston Villa. The main organisers will be working hard this Sunday afternoon to get flags ready and in good order for the Villa game and giving up hours of their time to get everything right. We all owe them our thanks for their dedication to our just and righteous cause.

The first surfer, jumbo flag will also be displayed for the very first time as well. That is a flag that has been paid for by the rank and file of Newcastle United supporters – the money was raised from t-shirt sales, the Gallowgate Flags Quiz night and straightforward donations. Hundreds of Mags have made this possible.

The intention is to display the new surfer flag in the middle tier of the Gallowgate End with other areas of the Gallowgate populated with other flags.

Gallowgate Flags are asking as many supporters as possible – particularly those in the Gallowgate End to get to the game at least 15 minutes early this coming Monday night to start building the atmosphere and the pre-match display.

Gallowgate Flags are also asking for supporters to come with Black & White scarves and be ready to display them as the teams take to the pitch. In fact it is essential to the display that as many scarves as possible are being waved / twirled as the players come out on the park.

Since it’s Aston Vile perhaps the surfer flag should have Who’s Sobbing Now on it?
