Since 1999 true faith has been providing the alternative view on life at Newcastle United. Over the years we have published hundreds of entertaining and informative articles and reports covering life at our beloved club.
As well as covering United in microscopic detail we’ve also expanded our coverage into football in foreign fields as well as dipped our toes into the rich local culture of the North East’s non-league game.
We’ve gone further and covered supporter culture and also been part of every major campaign at United coming up to two decades.
We have been able to achieve that because of the brilliant contributors we have attracted to true faith – some of whom have written for us for many years and others who have scratched an itch by contributing to one of the country’s most prominent and respected fanzines.
In 2017 we are now Newcastle United’s longest running and most widely read fanzine. We have dozens of writers who provide brilliant contributions for true faith and the fanzine has never ever had a bigger readership as it becomes a pioneer of supporters’ expression in the digital age.
We really want to keep ahead of the game and we can achieve that by continuing to attract writers who are committed to providing good quality contributions that inform, entertain and are original.
You don’t have to have fancy qualifications or be a published writer to contribute to true faith (though we don’t mind if you are). Our writers come in all shapes and sizes. Some are home and away zealots, season ticket-holders, some go when they can and some are ex-pats who still follow the club from afar – but all share an enduring love and devotion to Newcastle United. In short, they are people like you.
Some writers come to us with ideas for articles fully formed and others like to have a suggested article from us that we want to include in the fanzine. We are also after match-reporters but our insistence is that you are actually at the match as a paying punter. Imagine being a fanzine that didn’t go to matches?

That is all.
