On Thursday evening, true faith held a Press Forum with all of the most prominent football journalists in the region who cover Newcastle United. For the record that included George Caulkin (The Times), Craig Hope (The Mail), Martin Hardy (The Independent), Simon Bird (The Mirror), Luke Edwards (The Telegraph) and Mark Douglas (The Chronicle).

The press lads were joined by a select band of true faith apparatchiks for the panels including Micky Carling, Wallace Wilson, Colin Whittle and Alex Hurst.

The event completely sold out and thanks to those who bought tickets, kind donations of prizes for raffles and of course a fantastic private donation from our beloved manager, Senor Rafael Benitez, a staggering £3000 was raised on the night for the Newcastle United Fans Foodbank. That is the largest single private donation the NUFC Fans Foodbank have ever had.

Thank you to everyone who supported the true faith Press Forum.

As promised we now have a podcast from the night available for download. We would like to offer the Podcast on an honesty box basis.

Tickets for the night at the Tyneside Irish Centre were £10 per head, so perhaps a minimum donation of £5 per download would work. It would be marvellous if we could raise another £1000 for the Foodbank from the Podcast.

The quality of the Podcast is pretty good but a little iffy in part but nowt that shouldn’t pt you off too much.

Details of how to donate are detailed on the platforms as above.
