true faith : PARDEW SURVEY RESULT IN

We were going to leave this survey to run over the Christmas / New Year holidays but we Pardewxfelt that enough of you had voted to declare the result to you.

1082 of you voted over only 2 days. A massive 853 of you agreed Yes, he should resign with 229 (or 21.2%) voting he should not. By any stretch of the imagination that is a pretty landslide result asking the manager to resign.

I’ll leave it to you to decide whether those voting No represent the perpetually bewildered of Tyneside or the number of Mackems who regularly read the true faith website.

Should he resign? Well, even by conservative measures and from a sample of over 1000 true faith readers, just shy of 80% of you think he should.

Over to him.

That is all.

I voted no. Not because I think Pardew is any good, but I just don’t see the point of him going mid-season. We would only have the choice of Pulis or worse. No one worth having is going to leave their club mid-season unless Fat Mike is offering megabucks and unfettered control of team matters including buying, selling and keeping. And we know that ain’t going to happen. The players at least look like they are playing for him, and we have (an excuse but a valid one) horrendous injuries. I do not think we’d have lost half the goals we did in our last three games if Krul had been playing. Sick to death of Pardew but our best chance of someone decent will be next summer. Ashley should be lining up his replacement now. But it just wont happen will it?

I also voted no because its pretty much a worthless question. There is no way on earth he will ever resign under Ashley. There is no reason why he should. His own ego will prevent him from doing it and there is no pressure what-so-ever to do so. Therefore the answer is 100% no. It is a pity, because we are all sick of him.

The next survey should be along the lines of if Ashley sacked him, do fans believe we will get a better, long term replacement?
