As the editor of this humble publication I’m frequently staggered by the wide and varied interest there is in our very own Newcastle United Football Club. Regular contacts from all corners of the globe and a reading map of the downloads of the fanzine confirm an interest in United that stretches way beyond what we might consider its natural home i.e. the well-dressed bits of the North East of England.

In this latest issue of true faith, Peter Goldstein, an American sports fan reveals his interest in our club and his take on matters Black & White from his place on the other side of the Atlantic. This is a really interesting perspective on Newcastle United and the world around it from someone who clearly has an affection for our Tyneside institution but maybe lacks the typical indoctrination many of you reading this have had.

Met a few of these lads n lasses a couple of years ago in Legends on 33rd St. NY. Great bunch. Only problem was we got tonked off Swansea, with a certain Mr Shelvey scoring a blinder. Good night though, would recommend it to anyone on holiday over there. I had to decline the 5:30 start on the Saturday morning sesh to watch us play Man Ure, as our flight was at 11am.
    We bloody beat them aswell!!!!!!!!
