Dwight Gayle is unquestionably becoming the man of the moment at Newcastle United. However, its fair to say when news broke of his arrival at St James’ Park there wasn’t exactly a motorcade of beeping horns and waving flags down Barrack Road. Things are changing on that score.
In the new issue of true faith (TF 127) one of our new writers, Emma Thompson has made her debut with an introductory piece focused on Dwight which digs into his background and the circumstances of his arrival here in the summer from Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace.

Of course you can just dive straight into the new issue of true faith by simply clicking on the image below. This issue of true faith is over 90 pages of the best fanzine writing anywhere in the UK. true faith is Newcastle United’s longest running and most popular fanzine having provided the alternative view on the affairs of our club since 1999, originally in hard-copy format but now exclusively as a digital publication. That transfer from hard-copy to digital has sent our readership stratospheric and true faith is now the most widely read, independent fans’-led football publication in the UK. You can read true faith on any device you care to mention and many of you take it on smart-phones, PCs and lap-tops. Our recommendation is for i-pads and tablets and in that way you can enjoy the traditional pleasures of reading true faith on the move i.e. on the bus, train etc but also while stationery stretched out on the sofa and of course sat on the toilet – the classic true faith reading position. true faith has all of the bells and whistles of the digital era but is very much written as a traditional fanzine and stays true to the movement’s ethics. We all hope you really enjoy this issue.
