As you’ve hopefully now seen, the brand new issue of true faith (TF127) is out now and ready to download at your leisure. As is our wont, we’ll be picking out a selection of articles every now and again to put in front of you which we think you’ll enjoy in particular.
First up is our long-running GEORDIES HERE, GEORDIES THERE feature. For a number of years we’ve been
featuring the experiences of Mags who sample the exotic pleasures of football away from these shores. There are few countries where our writers haven’t taken in a game of professional football be that Russia, Brazil, Japan, Spain, Germany, France, Ireland, Belgium, Senegal, Argentina, Panama and God knows where else. They have been immensely enjoyable features and I’m always staggered at where our fellow supporters find themselves watching football.
However, until this issue we had never featured a piece from Central Asia but our man, Chris Rickleton has been out in Central Asia or Kazakhstan and you can get at his brilliant piece of writing by just clicking here.
As I think our regular readers will have worked out, here in the TF bunker we are somewhat attracted to the world of Italian football and whilst there are divisions in the true faith Calcio Camp as to the merits of Fiorentina, Inter and Juve, there is no question the Milan derby between AC and Internazionale is one of the greatest experiences anyone will ever have following our fantastic game. Back in January, our man in Milan, Michael Dodds got himself to the San Siro for the clash of real, bona-fide European football royalty when these two giants met up to contest this incredible Serie A classic fixture.
You can read Michael’s take on proceedings by just clicking here.
Of course if you just wanted to dive straight into the full new issue you can and that’s no trouble so long as you click on the image below. true faith is Newcastle United’s longest running and most widely read fanzine. It is also the most widely read, independent fans’-led publication in the UK. It is absoltely FREE and available in exclusively digital format. true faith carries all of the bells and whistles of the modern, digital era but it is without doubt a resolutely traditional fanzine. It is designed for people who love reading about Newcastle United and football. Its not interested in generating empty clicks for advertising revenue. No-one here wants to make a living running this fanzine and neither are we interested in slaving away putting crap in front of you for the interests of a corporation. Its a fanzine. Just like its always been and always will be. We all hope you enjoy it.
