One of the best lads you’ll ever care to meet and similarly one of the most devoted Black & Whiters around, Paully has been providing true faith with his unique brand of wit and wisdom in our pages for quite some time and I hope he does so in the future for many years to come too.

Paully’s pieces buzz along at an amphetamine pace, are often surreal but strangely entertaining and not without their moments of clarity – a bit like some of those shirts he wears.

Its no accident that Paully’s regular column in true faith is entitled – POSTCARDS FROM THE EDGE.

In this latest issue Paully is on something of a tour-de-force and variously gives back-handers to Pardew in particular amongst some others but poignantly pays tribute very warmly to his fellow South Tynesider, Cliffy from South Shields who we lost this year and who definitely came under the character heading.
