Well that was a game which Swansea wont believe they haven’t won, but with 15 to go SwanseabannerUnited looked most likely to get a winner their performance didn’t deserve.

A long day started with a train from Manchester Piccadilly at 6:30, you question your sanity when your getting up at 5:30 to watch that shite, a long train consisted of stopping at places you’ve never heard. Wem ?!?! New one to me.

Arriving at Swansea a few very reasonable priced Pints were consumed before heading up to the Liberty, usual fuck on with tickets happened. This friends & family group thing causes nowt but confusion.

Pardew made two changes from the side at Stoke, Cabella was dropped for the infuriating Obertan whilst Cisse was in for Riviere.

If we’re going to stay up, and I’m very worried we won’t, Cisse needs to stay fit and bang in Jonasbanner20 plus goals. He’s back to being the main man at United.

Swansea controlled the 1st half with Ki and Shelvey controlling our midfield 3. Within that 3 Sissoko was again the worst, lacking in desire or heart and again his 1st touch was abysmal. How he continues to get picked for France is beyond me ? Makes me think it could be something to do with the 3 clowns coaching him on a day to day basis. There’s obviously a player there just ask Ashley Cole.

Swansea took the lead with a goal a team 5 down on a Sunday morning pitch would be disappointed to concede Colo and Williamson who both stink of a relegation centre half pairing were at six and sevens as Sigurdsson and Bony combined to give Swansea a well deserved lead.

That led to the ‘Pardew Out’ songbook being sang by the United faithful with a ‘ oh Alan checkemswanseaPardew its your fault we’re shit’ getting a fair few outings. The Swans, who as a club I have a lot of time for, should have had the game won by half time with Ki and Bony both having chances to extend the lead, Krul making a very good save from one of them. As a shotstopper he’s superb but as a goalkeeper the rest of his game is piss poor. Shocking distribution with an urge to lump it on every occasion also struggles to claiming crosses. Over the last 3 years he’s gone backwards but hey ho who am I to tell Chino wearing Andy Woodman he’s a crap coach.

United equalised just before half time, totally against the run of play, after good work from Obertan fed Cisse who’s clever finish put Newcastle level. I’ll be honest I missed it as did many having popped for a HT pint, I wasn’t as bothered as I’d usually be. The bastards are grinding me down.

On to the 2nd and it was much the same with Swansea caressing the ball better than we have for a long time, this led to a second for the Swans scored by ex Mag Wayne Routledge. Not as good as Obertan Alan ? Fuck off you clown. 6ft plus Sissoko was knocked off the ball by errr the big brut that is Gylfi Sigurdsson who slipped the ball passed a static Colo and Williamson to Routledge to chip home. I’m happy he’s done well, never once let us down wearing the B&W.

After that goal hate towards Pardew intensified. I can’t hold conversations with people Swansea14who are pro Pardew. There opinion is void the stats speak for themselves. After Swanseas goal i felt the floodgates would open but they seemed rather content just keeping the ball.

Pardew took off the ineffectual Gouffran,  I’ve been called for calling him shite but answers of Gouffrans good games in 2014 ? He’s garbage and the work hard shit is a myth. Sammy replaced him instantly Newcastle got better Sammys like Shola both got an abundous of talent but poor mindsets along with poor coaching will probably mean he’ll not maximise his potential. Shortly after Colback, who already looks sick of his life, was withdrew for Riviere. Newcastle playing 4-4-2. It still exist you know ! The champions played it for large periods of last season.

Newcastle now had a threat which led to the equaliser with Riviere challenging for a ball which led to Sammy putting in a belter of a cross for Cisse to poke home. After this United looked like they felt they could win it. Riviere and Cisse contrived to somehow miss a golden chance whilst Jannmat fizzed an effort that the keeper did well to hold on to. On the face of its not a bad result but the performance reiterated change is needed.

Quick side note I had 7 lads from Reading up, none of whom were abused or told they were a ‘cockney wanker’. Funny that ah Dennis ?

MOM: Cisse – The lads got the spark back

Our fans: Much better than last few weeks . Better array of songs for a change- 8

Their fans: Clapped the Anti Ashley chants and but on a nice tribute for Jonas-8

I thought 4-4-2 had been banished as well but I suspect “Pards” got his subs mixed up as he’s apparently having a bad time! If he was so concerned about his family then a resignation would solve that, most people would. He will probably revert to 1 up front as he never learns. When he was polishing his award (don’t laugh) you would think he would remember playing 4-3-3 to get it. He hasn’t played that formation since, strange that. This 1 up front can work if you have a suitable striker like, say Drogba. We haven’t had one for a while and when we scored 3 goals at Palace using Armstrong I, wrongly, assumed it would hit home but the young lad hasn’t been seen since. In normal circumstances a draw at Swansea would have been welcome playing badly but getting a result. Those days went long ago and god knows how bad it has to get for Ashley to jettison his mouthpiece.

  2. Greeny's Guitar says:

I thought Garry Monk summed it up when he said something like “It was so easy for us in possession we lost concentration ”
Translation = We have just dropped points to a fucking useless team who were so bad we couldn’t believe it

  3. Marc Corby says:

Very pleased for Cisse, hopefully his form will continue and he looks well up for the fight appearing the only one willing to encourage those around him.

Sad state of affairs though when around 15 of us watched the match in a bar and not one jumped up when we scored.

Until Pardew goes I don’t think anyone can feel ‘into it’.

  4. Swansea gave us a point. Don’t know why.
