Charlton Athletic - Barclays Premiership

Location – SJP    Kick Off – 15:00pm    Date – Monday 9th April 2007   Tickets - On General Sale
Coverage – SkySports PPV, BBC Radio Newcastle 95.4FM,   Referee – Howard Webb

When most people are wrestling the Easter Eggs off the bairns what better distraction than to see one of the best passing teams in the Premiership make a long and unwanted journey up the A1. Hats off to the travelling Gooners, it must be a nightmare weaving their way through jams of caravans and families that feel the need to spend every bank holidays clogging up our motorways.

Which Arsenal will turn up at SJP on Monday, will it be the wounded animal that has lost three games on the bounce or has Wenger and his team turned the corner to continue their push for Champions League football next season. We won at Sheff Utd without actually playing very well but I will take the win every time over playing attractive flowing football. We have always played exciting football but it about time especially at this stage of the season that we start winning at all costs.

We are not safe yet so we must approach every game with the belief and desire that we can win. Roeder must stick with a winning formula because even though it wasn’t pretty we showed glimpses that we had balance and an idea. Hopefully everything is pointing to a great game so without further ado Howay Lads do us proud.
