Can't complain really. Poor showing, hardly any efforts on goal. If
Liverpool's forwards could finish, it'd been 4 or 5 nil. Don't talk
to me about the penalty, Liverpool should have had one too, so it
evened itself out. Duff and Martins where invisible.
Yet again we fell to the hands of Liverpool on the own ground.
However, for the first team in at least the last 3 years, we
actually gave this game a go. Granted Liverpool were dominant with
possesion in the first half, but I thought our attitude was great

Good game, but Milner looked lost at times
liverpool are a class above us so no great surprise.If harper hadnt
slipped then it would have been 1-0 and no shame in that. I met
Halsely in Spain in the summer and he told me he has a soft spot for
the toon (shearers testimonial n that) the bastard didnt give us a
pen!
Mark Halsey is a bottler, we saw it at Grim-sby when Shearer was
'done' and on 3 occasions he bottled awarding us pens he knew
atleast 1 of them should have been given, Carragher thought he'd
given one away but no. TWAT. we cant blame the ref intirely though
I thought we could'nt complain at 2-0, we never competed with or
fully matched their midfield.
We also don't get penalties at Anfield, and Babyaro was lucky not to
get sent off.

Anyone critical of Steve Harper please fuck off and die now.Too many
