There was some really positive news announced yesterday which I’m sure will be welcomed by those who travel regularly to away games.
The Football Supporters Federation has campaigned relentlessly for more affordable football and at last the Premier League and certain clubs are beginning to listen. We don’t have a perfect situation as yet but this is a big step forward. The Newcastle United Supporters Trust has also played a central role in supporting this campaign too.
The full news about the ticket price cap is available on the Football Supporters Federation website. You can get at it by clicking here.
There is good coverage of the news in The Guardian via Jamie Jackson. You can get at the piece by clicking here.
Of course, we just have to be in the Premier League to take advantage of this scheme.
